3-2, Fletcher has done it again! Can City come back? Logic says no, but they have done it twice before.

I doubt we'll see a better derby this season.

Owen has won it for United 4-3, City will feel hard done by the result. What was the referee waiting for? He should have blown the whistle after the 4 minutes of added time. It's unfortunate that the derby will be remembered more for the referee than the football

I hope you are not surprised the ref. came to man utd.'s rescue? I am yet to see a game they have won outright without help from the ref. or lucky on goals. A draw would have been good.

No I'm not surprised, we call it “Fergie time” . Whenever the game is balanced against them, particularly at the Old Trafford, certain refs rubber band extra time or award the devils free kicks for innocuous challenges. Btw, what did you make of Fergie's mad Yankadi after the Owen goal ?

LOL Fergie will be Fergie but he's not very happy since they conceeded 3 goals too. lol May be it's time they used a stop watch to measure how much time is lost during injuries, goal celebrations, free kicks, etc and then add that exact time as extra time?

Not a bad idea .... and have an automatic whistle stop the game when the time is up . This statement from an exasperated City fan summed it up for me:

Great game spoiled by the idiot Man United fan in black.

Actually if am not mistaken they do. The refs normally have two watches one on each hand and they stop one during all the stoppages. Will be on the lookout for this at the next game just to make sure.

There is no justification for 6 minutes of extra time in that game considering the Chelsea Spurs game only got 8 for the long stops when both Bassong and Drogba were injured.
