There's a verse in Genesis (I'm sure you'll find it Mofo...) that says that God looked at his creation and declared that it was good.

Later on, Matthew or Mark somewhere, Jesus was asked the question about ingesting unclean animals, and his answer was something along the line of 'it's not what goes into your body that makes your unclean, it's what comes out of your heart. Again, not exact wording, but I'm sure you'll correct me, O great theologian Mofo. I thank God every day for pork. I love it that much. Mutton, beef and lamb are not bad either, among others.

You haven't said anything about the backward looking tendencies of Muslims. How long are you prepared to be imprisoned by past glories, and how do you plan to get ahead if you can't look at where you are going?

I'm not really expecting you to answer this, so you can sleep easy... Mofo.

Are you rejecting the prohibition from Leviticus 11:8 ?!

yep.

and I won't lose a moment of sleep over it.

If tried to live by every single rule that the bible has in it, especially the old testament, I'd die of misery and deprivation, not to mention nearly sacrifice my first child a la Abram. I'll leave that literalism to you Muslims.

The beauty with your type of Christianity (also called Hypocritical Christianity) is that you can take only those verses in the Bible that suit you and ignore the rest. So if you want to be a pork-eating womaniser, you can ignore those verses where your god explicitly forbade the eating of pork and sleeping with chics out of wedlock, and still call yourself a good Christian.

About the Bible rules and laws - is there any way god would have given us laws which he knew are impossible to live by? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Yes. The impossibility lies in the way in which you would want to keep those laws. Those laws could not/cannot be kept on your own. He still went ahead and gave them to us so that we could turn to him for help.

They are kept if we exercise faith in his strengthening power, the power he gives to enable us keep those laws.

Will you turn to him to help you keep those laws? When you acknowledge that on your own you cannot keep those laws, but that he can give you the power to keep them, then you are under what is called grace, faith and salvation.

Sufficient is it that I say to you the same as what is said to the goat who keeps trying to ram the mountain, “O goat don’t have mercy upon the mountain, have mercy upon your horns!”

is the bible enough, or are we supposed to have minds of our own as well?
eating pork is neither here nor there when it comes to matters of faith.

why do christians even have/use the bible???if they justified everything they do that goes against the bible.

they cannot abide by the ten commandments... ati jesus summirised the commandments to LOVE...

i think, instead of all these chapter in the bible, u should just have one versed bible....ie love u neighbour as u love urself.

or u should delete the irrelevant verses kama .....Leviticus 11:8.(ndo mle zilizo haramishwa vizuru)

bibilia ni ya nini kama iwezi kufuatwa??????? 111... u still dont believe the bible contradict itself.

If 'pro' is the opposite to 'con', is Congress the opposite to progress??then the opposite of constitution would be prostitution.
