Why do some Muslims eat during Ramadhan?

Is Ramadhan will driven or mandatory fast?

Muslims eat thrice as much food as during the normal days. So, no fasting.

Again, normally people go for about 14 hours without eating (7pm supper followed by 9am breakfast) hence transferring only 12 hours to day time and calling it fasting is just but dogmatic hypocrisy.

Same reason why most Christians fornicate and it's against god's laws. Some people just cannot keep up to their deity's standards.

look... man cannot live without eating. I tried fasting once and broke down in the 6th hour. I totally understand anyone who has a hard time sticking to the fast.

This is what they call compliance/non-compliance, and you will find it in any group of people who are required to obey some laws or rules.

Let's be fair to Muslims (at least during Ramadhan, bwana.)

What if someone is a diabetic, nursing, invalided, pregnant or convalescing? Don't they need food?

i dispute that, actually i wont am gonna rephrase it, woman can live without eating esp when she is a size 8 on sunday and is striving to be a size 6 by friday.....yes its very do able......am on an all green diet this month, nothing but broccoli, green beans, string beans, salad, lettuce, smoothie made out of cucumber (gag) you name it.

a fasting holiday is very different from the vice of fornication.Unless you wanted to say they fornicate during fasting.
