Default Believe for the sake of your future - 09-06-2008, 04:35 AM

I am also a believer and think for sure that unless you are honest with yourself and God, you might as well leave it all.. If you are doing churchy things without conviction you might as well be a non believer, it is useless

The bible is authentic, as much as there are many who may seem wise to think otherwise..
The Isaiah we have in the bible was one the Jews read and do still read..yet it predicted acccurately the Messiah... That is the mark of authenticity, making predictions that do take place.. Daniel, a book which has been found amongst Babylonian ruins predicted the end of that Kingdom of Babylonia and there is a prophesy that it shallnever be rebuilt.. saddam trie (need I say More), the end of the Medio Persia Kingdom, that came to pass by alexander he great, who passed on before time and splitting of his kingdom into four, that came to pass, through one of those four, the Romans rose, and though a root of one of those four, at the very endthe antichirst shall rise..who shall make himself equal to god, then the End..

But seeing the accuracy of the bible, you might as wel come to term with the verse that the wages of sins is death, and God will bring it to pass.
At the end of this life, and world, all those who have sin will die.. God will send them into the lake Of fire, with a purposely built body so that they wil be in eternal torment..
a scary proposition..

But GOd loves all and sent His son that whosoever beleives in Him shall not Perish but shall have everlasting life..
so take God's gift of salvation and avoid the fulfilling of yet another Bible Prophesy which spells tough times for those who do not have a covering for heir sin, the Great Lord Jesus Christ..

I do not need to read the Bible in order to be a Christian.I do not need to memorize verses in the Bible to be known as a christian.Neither do I need to go to church every other end of week as a sign of how christian I am.

I believe in the supernatural, because my existence itself is not by chance.I read the Bible to get more knowledge about this wonderful power, who went further to give His only son to die for our sins. And oh,I go to church to fellowship with other believers/witnesses,those who have seen the impact of His power in their lives.

The sunset at evening, the sunrise in the morning only in itself thrills my heart that He Lives!.Ever wondered why our forefather used to worship the sun?.Only to be told later that the power behind that sparkling star is God,and for you to know more about Him,read the Bible.

I have been saved from many situations which I never imagined could make it.This makes me cry to God with thanksgiving, and ask for forgivenes for I sin everyday, but He still cares and loves me,and yes,I too am a christian by choice.

Happy Day.

If these are the reasons why you have choose to be a Christian, then your reasons are nuliffied by your own Book! I will tell you how:

Jesus' prayer not to die on the cross was accepted by God, according to Luke, the author of Hebrews, and James. Thus, how could he die on the cross?!

And he took it, and did eat before them."
This is a clear proof that Jesus was a same person, not ressurected!

So how could he died for your sins then?!

You should not accept the word "son" literally, because the Bible also refers to many prophets and other people as sons and children of God! How many tons do God have according to the Bible?!
But I know that you are prepared to say that he is the only begotten son, so let me refute this idea:
Long before Jesus was born, God said to David (Psalms 2:7): "I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me (David): 'Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee."
So David is also God's begotten son. The meaning of "Son of God" is not literal but metaphorical. It can be anyone who is beloved by God.

Even false prophets would do wonders, as prophesied by Jesus himself: Matthew 24:24: "For there shall arise false Christ, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

i cant explain to you because your eyes are closed and you are not a christian, so you cannot know the things of the spirit, your mohamed SAW was a normal mortal who healed nobody, prophesied nothing, died and did not rise again. he was simply a warrior, today his followers are simply that fighting futile wars, the Koran is full of philosophy nothing spiritual, book of a dead a dead religion!
Jesus is the truth!

Default Resurrection - 09-07-2008, 05:27 AM

...And they gave him a piece of broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them."
This is a clear proof that Jesus was a same person, not ressurected!...

Is this suppose to mean that a resurrected person, should be totally different? should not be hungry? should not eat?

Sometimes you got to do what you believe is right instead of what you know is right!
