I dont think love can be measured just like it is not possible to tell someone how much u love them.

Ester this is besides the post but if God's love is so unconditional why would God watch his 'children' tortured in the flames of hell for eternity, what kind of a God is she??, or rather what kind of love is that???

He is a loving God.When that day of Judgement comes, you will have a chance to know whether God will condemn you to that lake of fire or He will have mercy on you! I believe everyone who asks for mercy will receive, everyone who seeks forgiveness will be forgiven! Whatever you want, ask and it shall be given to you!

Love is measurable. Its strength is measured according to the relationship of the parties involved.Parents will have a stronger love for their children than their neighbor.A married couple will normally enjoy stronger love than two brothers. So basically love strength can be predicted more accurately using the nature of the relationship of the people involved.
As God's creation and based on the fact that He created us in His own image,we are graced by His love!

Default love

Love is measurable and that is why you cannot love two people with same measure of love.

Not sure if love can be measured, but I can guarantee you the 'love stick' can be measured. U need a ruler, or a tape measure if its crooked kama ya Clinton....

Love is a business deal.

Lover:

I’ll kiss your toes darling; you are good looking, and ‘sexy’ and the envy the of my comrades

You spend freely, you protect me; you are ‘truly’ my honey.
I’ll stick to you honey, you are so popular;
You do not ‘demand too much' of me my darling
You are my sweetheart; you lavish me with gifts and things.
Your people are ‘connected’; you’re my Shelter in the storm.
You got a good job, you give me assurance, and really you don’t know how much I love you.

And if you don’t love me; rest assured that after you die you aint gonna pick even the crumbs of the everlasting banquet I promise.

If you don’t play by the rules, if you don’t follow the commandments, you anint gonna see a thing.

Look around and you’ll quickly see for yourself that it’s all about give and take for that’s how business operates.

Love is the simplest thing that can be measured.

For example a few minutes of well rehearsed cajoling can take you a long way.

The question in itself is vague, presumptious and misleading because the love that is referred to is not defined.

Love of a woman or a man?, love of God(S)?, love of Science?, Love of Religion?, Love of Knowledge? I remember a philosipher who candidly admitted that he loved words more than he loved his wife; what sort of love are we referring to here?

That's a good question. Jasakwa, what type of love are you referring to? It just occurred to me: one parameter you could use to measure love, is the level of stress/pain one would experience if they could no longer give or receive that love.

An ordinary man would not accept anyone harming his child; he would come to his defence, and would never hand him over to an enemy who would insult him, let alone leave him to face the worst kind of death. If this is the attitude of a mere created being, what then of the Creator?
