can you measure love?

if God's love is so unconditional why would God watch his 'children' tortured in the flames of hell for eternity, what kind of a God is she??, or rather what kind of love is that???

Blame such a God on falsehood, pagan philosophy, and high level spiritual preachers. The bible doesn't teach anything close to that assertion.

according to Christian beliefs that are based on the bible, the punishment for wrong doers is going to hell.....so what gives??

Yenyewe after re-reading it, it does sound like I'm disappointed we won't roast forever. I wouldn't like to chomeka forever. I burnt my finger tip jana when chucking chicken from the oven and it's still throbbing like crazy, so I wonder how feeling that pain all over your body fior the rest of your life without dying would feel!

Will we be spirits in hell? If so, how can we chomeka?

That thought also crosses my mind whenever I get burnt while cooking.

The fact that hell isn't eternal should not be a consolation for you. In the spirit realm, our concept of time is irrelevant, so one minute in that place can feel like a whole eternity.

If you want, I can post a well articulated study of eternal punishment and what the bible by itself says. The idea of an everlasting punishment in hell or otherwise is a strange concept that was borrowed from Babyloian mythology outside of the bible.

why is there something instead of nothing? why is there love instead of hate? love! philial love? eros love? etc....whatever kind of love can be measured subjectively according to the giver and the recipient's own judgement and how its percieved.i think its difficult to measure love based on the premise that its a feeling, an emotion and not a tangible good or service or a quantifiable variable so to say.
