Default Polite request to Mr Admin - 06-25-2008, 10:13 AM

I guess this is the only way to get a hold of Mr Admin.

It seems now that posts containing website links are automatically deleted. Did anyone else get this memo? Or is it only happening to me?

Mr Admin, can you please communicate with members (preferrably with a Sticky thread) of such policy changes? If this was a unique occurence (read a personal vendetta against ndigila), then ignore and/or delete this thread.

The only "social responsibility" of a Christian is to live, wherever and with whomever he may be, the life of faith, for his own salvation and as an example to others.

I sure didn't get that memo you're talking about. But why would admin have a personal vendetta against you? You're like one of the best behaved ones around here.

Actually, I probably should have asked "Did anyone at all get this memo?"

I found out by trying to post a reply with a website link and my reply kept getting deleted. Is this happening to anyone else?

i didn't get it either...but there's some kind of rule against posting links in the political section..

[edit]ok, i couldn't find where i saw that rule, but i'm sure i've seen it somewhere...they prolly think you're advertising or promoting something..

I found these rules under the tab "Join Mashada."

* Rule 13: Do not create threads or posts designed to advertise for your site or webpage.

* Rule 14: Do not link to other political forums or consumer goods or services in your signature. You may link to political blogs and non-political forums in your signature.

If that's the case, then I think a change has been made to treat all links as advertisements. Have any of you tried to post a link and succeeded?

Exactly; it would mean all posted links would be treated as ads. Personally, I've had no problems with that.
In fact, I will try it right now: CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News

That's just great. Then it seems I'm the only one not allowed to post links. Unless only certain websites are automatically blacklisted.

Okay, then, just ignore this thread.
