Default a wife slaps hubby for helping destitute woman - 06-23-2008, 09:50 AM

A man in kayole invited his wife's wrath when he played a good samaritan to a woman homeless and destitute. This man met the woman begging for food near teh edelvale children's home and offered to give her food at his house. His wife who was making her hair at a near salon was informed by gossiping neighbours that they saw her husband with a strange woman getting into the house. When the wife stormed into the house the hubby was in the kitchen warming left over food for the hungry stranger. The wife attacked the hubby who vehemently tried to explain the situation, she complained that he hubby never goes to the kitchen for her,she wondered why he would take the trouble for the strange woman.

The incident attracted the attention of the area chief who quelled the milee as the husband convinced him that he was just excercising the values of his faith to help the destitute.

Do you think that family had peace even before the stranger came into the scenerio?

If A equals success, then the formula is A = X + Y+Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut.

There was trouble brewing long before this. The poor, destitute woman was just a catalyst

Pity the wife. She's practically tearing apart her home with her own hands. Since when does the salon gossip get more merit than her spouse? What goes around, comes around. Malipo ni papa hapa duniani.

One day she'll be in a destitute situation but no one will come to her aid. Not even her husband (who won't hang around with her for long after this incident).

If he genuinely helped a stranger, how much more love is he capable of towards his own family?

That woman is pain to her husband.
The bible says in HEBREWS 13:2- Dont forget to show hospitality to strangers for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it.

3 old testament people entertained angels without knowing it.. Abraham ( Genesis 18:1) Gideon ( Judges 6:11) and Manoah ( Judges 13:2)

May be that woman was a blessing in disguise.
