Default Man originated from dust - 06-23-2008, 12:45 AM

God created man from dust as the bible says. Now scientist also believe life form might have originated from the comet dust which is capable of carrying protiens and water.Infact scientists now claim the whole Earth was made from dust particles in orbit around the primitive sun, as were all the other solid objects in the solar system. But they have no answer how the dust itself come into existence.

not sure how it fits here though...

This atheist has no idea where man came from. But when presented with different possibilities, I look at the one with evidence to support it. When there is no evidence, I dismiss it. That's why I don't buy, like the Maasais do, that we came from the sky. That's why I also don't buy that god created us 7,000 years ago, when there is irrefutable evidence that life existed millions of years before that.

Actually the opposite is true. The more scientists have researched and discovered stuff, the more man has disproved god! I always use the example of thunder and lightning. To ancient man, that was a sign of god manifesting himself. To modern educated man, it is just the result of electrical occurences in the sky.

But you also have to recognize the other side. Some things being attributed to the supernatural are now being called illusions. For instance, some people are flirting with the concept that humans don't actually have free will. Some are also flirting with the idea that evil is an illusion and that all human actions are good.

The only "social responsibility" of a Christian is to live, wherever and with whomever he may be, the life of faith, for his own salvation and as an example to others.

Don't be too sure about that- there is growing scientific evidence that radiometric dating methods are completely unreliable.
More later..

That's ludicrous. Tell me how raping and killing a baby girl can be seen as good?

Hey don't ask me. I'm not a proponent or supporter of that idea.
