Let me clarify one thing, which is the fundamental difference here between theists and atheists. Whenever people have issues, they turn to a variety of sources for "healing". Those sources are essentially the same, regardless of whether you're an atheist or a theist, apart from one - religion. Theists turn to the other sources
AND religion, while atheists turn to the same sources
WITHOUT religion. I'd assume that is pretty much common sense.
So when you're stressed and you turn to family, friends, a shrink, meditation, go on a vacation, etc, as sources of relief, you can be sure that atheists are doing the same thing. You'll only part ways when you ask god to help cure your issues!
