From the Bible,we get it clear that disasters befal human beings because of their actions.no storm or earthquake comes without the command from the supreme God.

weeks before the deadly earthquake in china,a chinese ship was insisting to deliver weapons to a politicaly volatile country(zim).It was refused to dock in south africa,namibia,and angolan harbours.they looked for ways till the ship of shame accomplished its mission and the weapons safely landed in Zimbambwe.The issue of profit was of priority to China than the human life.The zim government is using these same weapons and state resources to kill,torture and intimidate those who voted for MDC.It dint take long,before we cud get news of the earthquake in china.

Is there a corelation between the two events?(the ship of shame and the earthquake).Is God behind all these happenings due to human inhuman action or these are just natural phenomenons which just happen because of some forces?.

if the earthquake was from god to punish those responsible for trying to deliver weapons to Mugabe's regime, then all it does is show that god is a sadistic killer who punishes the innocent. If god wanted to punish somebody, why not strike Mugabe and the Chinese premier dead? What did those dead Chinese have to do with anything?

@Jinikali,i agree from the human explanation that earthquake is a natural thing which has nothing to do with pple's actions.But look what the Bible says,He commands the earthquake and the storms.he knows all the forces working from within and without,He has authority over all these forces,and these forces obey Him.

God unleashes punishment to man when man has failed to do according to his will,or when he deviates from what is right.we read from books how God used to punish man by earthquakes.
