Just how many times do we pray in the heat of the moment then when we are not answered instantly, we forget to thank God when He does come thru for us?

I never quite understood what it meant by 'in Your prescence there is fullness of joy' but growing in You has taught me about this fullness of joy. its this feeling i have today that nothing can beat.

You have been there for me even when i thought i was alone and despairing.Was it because of my strength? No, its because you were my Ebbenezar. Where am @ dear Lord, its because of nothing else but your grace..

Did i ever thank you enough?

Remember that time i got so angry at You cos things weren't exactly going the way i would have wanted them to? And i said i would not come back to your prescence? You were still there for me, You waited patiently for me and Your love for me did not waver.

Remember that time i was hurt by the guy i thought was the one? I cried and asked you why you allowed it to happen. You just wondered how blind i was for not seeing thru that guy. In my pain I figured I would never get anyone better than that, but shock on me when you sent me another one waaay better than the previous! I'm still tempted to ask how you strengthened me.

Remember that time i was sick? when i slept in that bed for so long until my legs couldn't move? i forgot You were the Great Physician but You still came thru and healed me. How long has it been again since i was sick? Lord You so amaze me!!

Remember that time when all my friends had these spectacular jobs and were having the time of their life when i was still stuck at square 1? I asked you why you had passed me by but you asked me to wait, for my time had not come. That was the hardest time of my life. Now look what you did! They still wonder how this happened!

I just realized that i rarely pray nowadays, sometime back i used to pray always anywhere anytime but i don't know what happened, i find myself praying only when i need something to work out for me that's when i remember that i've not prayed for quite a long time.Isn't it unfair to God?We always cry for help but forget to say thanx.

Thanx for bringing this thread may be things are gonna change for me now.

Remember when the small boy was in class eight and we were all worried about where the fees would come from, how we struggled by ourselves to save enough for Form 1 the next year? And the results finally came and he had passed extremely well? How we didnt even need to pay school fees for him anymore cos he'd gotten the best school in the country that didnt require school fees? Just how did You pull that off?

Oh, remember that time when all I heard was bad news from all corners? I thought we would never get back on our feet. I thought that without those you had taken away from us, we would never prosper. Yet You Lord, reminded me not to depend on man but to look up to you. You never did dissapoint me. and i smile cos i never would have thought you would be so close to me! I never knew You would be my strong tower. The one i run to.

And Lord, those days when i was young and my self esteem was low, when all i heard was negative stuff about me..look how you turned that around. Look at the place you put me, so that i could show love to those who dont have it. Help me to do that which You want me to do. Help me not to hold back the love You have freely given to me.

I adore you Lord. Every morning i open up my eyes, there are new mercies for me. You are awesome..just beyond my wildest imagination. Nothing compares to the promise I have in you. I cant compare you to anything in this world. You are above all. Exceedingly, abundantly above all i could ever think or want. I thank You Lord.
