God will lead you to temptation and then punish you mercilessly should you fall. Ama what do you say??

God led Jesus into trials in the wilderness and He overcame (as Adam was tested with food when full, Jesus was tested when extremely hungry). We are asked to be like Jesus. Also note the difference in meaning I want to give the words temptation and test.

God places an individual where Satan gets the opportunity to tempt him.

God created man good and through free will, man was to grow into perfection by loving and obeying God. You can't love and obey God if you don't have a choice to do otherwise.
