Default Maendeleo ya wahubiri..... - 04-30-2008, 12:08 AM

Sometimes i wonder if it's right for the men of God to involve themselves in some things like politics,an example is like before elections when they were talking about majimbo and all that stuff. What about now?HARAMBEE!!! that's idolatry.Oh no,What is not going on in Kenya? There's Prophet Awuor(not sure of the name),David Githii, who else?

I think that the pastors, and leaders of church should just remain that. Their work is to pray for the church, when they involve themselves in politics it should be to bring peace nothing else, they should be the bridge between the opposing sides, otherwise they loose their focus. Tell me, for example, the pastors who prophesied that they are going to win in the elections, where are they now, the congregation they had before, is it still the same size?

I think that its time for them to repent and go back to the Lord, mambo ya sijui politics waachane nayo.

And on that note, i really hate it when they invite the politicians to say a "special word" during the service. If a politician comes to church, let it be to pray not to sell us cheap politics of theirs. Just coz they will donate peanuts to the church for development. The most embarassing thing is that some of them dont lift up bibles when they are being sworn in. I mean how cheap do we sell our God?
