Christianity offers liberty

There is a verse in the bible that says "the spirit of the lord gives liberty". Christianity should also take the credit for modern civilisation.

Ray,thats why i don't agree with some people who burden their followers with rules,sijui don't eat this,don't touch this.

The Bible is full of rules concerning what believers should do in order to go to heaven. Ama that's OK since they came from god?
