The bible says the effective prayer of a rightious man availeth much. Paul said in 1 corinthians 2:4 my message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the spirit's power. These opens us to the keys of effectiveness 1. Rightiousness, 2. Power of the holy spirit when we add these to our wise advise,prayer and persuation we will avail much for now i would like to dwell more on bringing gods power through his presence into our situation; we are faced with darkness in our country at the moment. Such times cause a lot of despair and evoke emotions that sometimes cloud our understanding of how to react. Jesus said we are the light of the world and i believe it is in such darkness that we should ask ourselves “is there any light shinning out of me to this darkness. I believe if we explore that we can reinforce our believe surely we are kingdom people and god reigns in us. The bible records in samuel 6:12 12 and it was told king david, saying, the lord hath blessed the house of obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of god. So david went and brought up the ark of god from the house of obededom into the city of david with gladness. This ark of the covenant signifies the presence of god and therefore the lord blessed the house of obededom and all that pertaineth unto him because of the presence of god. It follows as we allow the presence of god to fill us the lord will bless all that pertaineth unto us including kenya. David knew this truth and that is why he went for the ark from obededom’s house. Moses also knew of these truth and in exodus 33:14-15 it is recorded; 13 now therefore, i pray thee, if i have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that i may know thee, that i may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 and he said, my presence shall go with thee, and i will give thee rest. 15 and he said unto him, if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. It is only the presense of god that will give us and this nation rest and like moses we should understand if gods presence go not with me, we are going nowhere.
