Our father in heaven, we approach your throne of grace and mercy with a lot of humility in our hearts, and with a lot of trust and faith that u will hear our prayers that we table as humble requests, that God u may make them points of consideration, from you children here on the beautiful Kenyan soil that u gave us. Thank you for answering our yesterday’s prayer, which has been the reality of today, and has given us a hope for future.
We bring the families who have lost their dear ones courtesy of tribal and hate campaigns during elections. Console them and wipe their sorrows dear God. We pray that u don’t punish the perpetrators of the same, but they may live to repent and preach peace. And as we continue with the last hot days of campaigns, we pray against any blood shedding and all the related election violence.
God, we pray that you give us sober minds, come election time, to elect those leaders that u have anointed to those elective positions. We pray for an election characterized by peace and love for a brother/sister. We pray for unity of purpose thereafter, in building and rebuilding our beloved Kenya. We refuse to take glory to us for the good that u have planned for us, but that all the glory will come back to you, our father.
We thank you for hearing our prayer, and we have faith that u will answer us. AMEN!

WHile praying for peace we cannot forget to include the free and fair part for this elections.We denounce,rebuke and reject the clique of people driven by the spirit of lies,we bind the spirit of rigging and bring it into subjection,we speak in authority for peace and fairness,let justice prevail,let the cheaters be exposed,bring confusion in their camps,and let them not prevail.

Dear heavenly Father,
We continue to approach the throne of grace and mercy at this time of need. We are mortals with our inclinations, help us to tune with your Spirit that we may be guided in our voting and in the way we relate with those who don't subscribe to our perspectives.

Help us Father that we don't destroy one another by the things we say or do, or both because of a one day event. Election is important yes, in fact very important indeed, but not about as important as life itself. We repent on behalf of our country and countrymen for the blood and life that have been lost during the campaigns.

Give us leaders who respect life and shun evil. Let the peace of the Prince of peace prevail in our land. We bind every spirit of violence and cheating during the elections--let whoever wins win clean.
