The Bible is the hardest set of commandments to follow. The main reason why it was not adviced back in the day is because of the cleansing rituals that came with such an act.
Just out of curiosity, does scientology give an explanationas to why there should be no sex during mensis??

Biblically it was a matter of cleanliness (rituals) rather than morals. That was in the OT...there are plenty of things the OT demands and I doubt you follow it.
