how do you know your religion is the "right" one?

We have so many religion:christianity,islam,buddhism,hinduism etc etc Is there one true religion? If so does that mean people in other religions are destined to hell?

Tolerance is the key word. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, or otherwise true or false religion. Imposing ones' beliefs on others is what I would consider wrong.

depends on what you mean by hell. It seems to me that you have already assumed that the true religion has a hell, so that automatically excludes hinduism and buddhism.

many religious believe in one universal and common God, the creator. just believe in that.

Are you sure it is the same God?

Christianity - Jesus is God
Judaism - Jesus was an impostor
Islam - Jesus was a prophet
Buddhism - Jesus was a buddha
Hinduism - Jesus could be God (but in this case God can be whoever/whatever you want)

If the same God who became man in the form of Jesus told these other four religions that Jesus did exist, but was just a normal human, and then watch the religions fight for supremacy, then my friend, that God cannot be trusted.

christians believe there is hell somewhere,so it means people practising other religions apart from christianity automatically go to hell.
