In Matthew 9: 16-30, a very rich young man asks Jesus what he should do to get eternal life. Jesus tells him to obey the commandments and to sell all that he has, give the money to the poor and follow Him. He emphasises his point by saying that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich person to enter heaven. Does this mean that we (christians) should all sell all our earthly belongings and commit ourselves and all our time to The Word and spreading it?
