While I do not want to give you a yes or no answer, there is a verse in the bible that says something close to "Make my eyes pass from seeing what is worthless" I am not sure where it is but probably David said it in the book of Psalms. Also Philipian 4:8-.. encourages us to continue considering praiseworthy things, whatever virtue there is, chaste, lovable...verse 9 ends with and the peace of God shall be with you.

Hope you can decide from the above answer what you need to do.

You must feel bombarded with ideas and pieces of advice. Wading through them may be as difficult as going it alone. At the end of the day, you can, if you choose seperate people who are telling you itchy things that may massage your natural senses and those that are telling you "hard" things but may be the right way to go.

Don't buy the lie that every Christian is a hypocrite. Hypocrites are out there but there are people who are genuinely committed. If you allow me, I would give you a link to a book--you read when you get time. I have the copyright, so there is no problem.
