our conscious mind alert us every time we are making decisions especially the negative ones though most of the times we ignore and go ahead to make 'mistakes'. if you decide to be born again, it simply means you use the good book (bible) as your manual.

Well as long as youre pursuing any studies above the baccalaureate level of education you can interchangebly use one or the other. In your case you may say im doing my graduate studies say in organic chem or i am pursuing a masters in thermodynamic chem both will be perfectly acceptable donge?

So depending on the heat of the moment or the context in which you want to place it, youre better off talking of graduate studies since there is no limitation to this maybe youre working on your higher degree aiming at permanent head damage(PHD) etc etc. Hope this helps.

There is always a chance for getting back to where you belong. But should you choose not to, then indeed something not so gud will be in store for you. Did you scare somebody in mathematics or this is not you?

I think salvation is a personal decision. I do not think it is good to give a new believer so many rules, eti wacha kuona wrestling etc. If we do that, we become legalistic.
First things first. We get saved because we realize that we have all sinned (big and small sins - it does not matter). Then we realize that God still love us in our sinful nature to the extent that He gave His son Jesus to die for us. We then ask for forgiveness and ask God to be our Lord (be in control of our lives). Starting from that simple that step, we will start to grow in Christ and know more about spiritual things. Do not expect to get saved today and change everything overnight - no! It takes time and the working of the Holy Spirit to change us (outwardly - character, the things we do, the things we watch etc). We are all different and the things I might decide to do away might be different from what someone else will fell God leading him/her to do away with. The key here is that we develop a relationship with God and become sensitive to what He wants for us - that is the best place of completeness we can ever be!
I will be glad to respond to questions - I promise that I am still learning and do not know everything.
