Default What's your Death wish Folks - 05-31-2007, 10:30 AM

What would you want to happen at your funeral,or happen to your body.We are gonna face this second law of thermodynamics wether we like it or not.As for me,I have three wishes

1)I want one of ma rib be frozen. This is just incase human cloning is made legal.

2)Ma body be smarshed into little tiny small pieces and thrown in SPACE.Hoping some creatures somewhere would get hold of it.That will make them know that there are other creatures(humans) out there too.

3)Being born in a christian family,ma folks might overide ma wish and do what everyone else does(burry ma ass).If thats the case,I would want them to plant a flower(morning glory) on top of ma grave. That way,Safina will be alive again in the form of a flower.I think thats sexy

Tell us something about your wishes.I bet Atlian would be insulted if church folks showed up at his funeral , singing hymns all day.

I do not have a death wish. Whatever happens to the body that I used to experience this world is entirely in the hands of the living mortals.

1. If it was entirely in my power even in death I’d like to have a private funeral – family members and only close friends. If we never kissed cheeks in life so be it in death too.
2. I’m with you on the organ donation (signed off on that on my DL). I could do with less weight on the streets of gold.
3. A white dress and a fancy hat with the face made up well enough to turn the angels’ heads (and demons too).
4. Three of my pictures on my tombstone – as a child, middle life and the last one taken closest to my demise. Hopefully someone has the sense to buy a permanent grave spot so that I can eternally rest in peace without someone trying to dig me back up !
5. Flowers and more flowers – mixture of roses would be perfecto.
6. Golden Bells Hymn sang – Will your anchor hold in the storms of life……
7. And last but not least, I hope that my life’s journey will be reason enough for those attending the celebration (yes that’s right) to smile through their tears and be grateful to God for a life well lived instead of grieving that I’m gone.

I think another way that won't pollute this earth, and nature makes the best the of your body is by,placing your body up on a tower and let vultures feed on in.

Like someone said, I w'd also prefer a very private memoriam - just family and those very close friends.

Cremated - then have my ashes scattered in regions where there is still very minimal human interaction.
E.g mountains in the highlands of Ethiopia or in glaciers in the arctic circle.

No flowers for me - never been big on them and they don't last for more than a few hours without withering.

No cards either - Am I going to read them when dead?

Most importantly, hopefully peeps won't make a big deal of it. This thing of people mourning forever has never been my cup of tea.

My $.02....

If B.S. was music, Mashada would be a heavy metal band.

Safina,

I'm also from a Christian family, so I know that the whole Christian thingi will be performed for me. I know the priest will be there yapping about how I was a good god fearing man, and the way I am currently in heaven. For real, I honestly don't care what they do to me after I die. It's up those those loved ones I'll leave behind to decide. I am an organ donor (on my DL) and I hope that by the time I die they will have advanced science to the point where they can harvest the dead body for as many vital organs as possible, and through those organs some Kenyans can get to live longer.

haha Atlian, the indifference just made me want to witness ur wedding lakini knock on wood that never happens.
I wanna be cremated, but ppl must make sure that im dead..too many horror stories going around. After being cremated I want my ashes to be poured in the Indian ocean. Basically I do not want a funeral...I want it to be a somewhat happy occasion. Celebrate the life I lived. Why are we discussing death tho..bado young!
