Different approaches to worship -

>There are many ways of praising the lord.....
Putting aside the name calling, I agree with you here. I believe there are many ways of praising God. Not all Christians sing, Some prefer other ways of worshiping God. I think what's in the heart is what counts. If you pray, sing, meditate, write, play instruments, do good works, its all in the intention.
I have to say I admire the devotion Muslims have to their daily prayers. Its really impressive. Worshipping God shouldn't be done for other people to see. You're doing it to glorify God, not for show.(My opinion)

I think radical Islam is just like the KKK. Why do you think David Duke, the American KKK leader was welcomed like a hero in Iran at a pseudo-conference designed to prove that the Jewish Holocaust was a fake. If Ahmedinajad is buddies with David Duke, and David Duke would sooner slit your throat than talk to a nigger, where does that leave black Moslems?

i think moslems more lifeless than we catholics...not that i'm complaining.
i personally believe that the further your methods of worship are from secularism, the more religiously spiritual you are

He asked a legitimate question. For people who don't know much many Moslems all you see is when they are on news protesting or when there is a terrosist attack. would you disagree? You forget that many people, unlike you, may not have encountered these people and the closest they have come is media.
I think part of this was discussed in another forum. Muslim radicals have the biggest voice and this is what the world sees. Moderates ar either to coward to speak and say these people are distorting Islam or the passively support them. It is as easy as that. I will condem anyone who say takes the name of Christ to kill. For example, some Christians kill abortion doctors because abortion is anti Christian. While I disagree with abortion, no way whatsover will anyone killing abortion doctors distort my region. I will not hurt them but I will speak out because these are not true Christians. See, the abortion doctor has done an abominable thing, but there is no Christian principle that would support killing them. I really look for the day many prominent Muslim leaders including clergies and national leaders will come out and detach from radicals. I hear now and then that someone condemns but it is like you have to search for the comment online.

i think americanized made alot of sense...muslims are really mad people....first...they are degrading to their women....women cant worship with man in the mosque....secondly, they dont compromise other religions....secondly...they are the most racist people on earth....i was in egypt and damn....they really hate black africans....am sorry...i really hate to generalize...but...majority of muslims are just sad, mad...upto no good bunch of idiots who take their anger and failures to innocent people of the civilised world...a religion that can justify stonning of a pregnant women out of wedlock is definately sub-normal religion
that's why am so cynical about somalis in kenya...even after what we've done to their country...they still threaten to attack kenya?...

P.s a man can have two, maybe three love affairs while he's married. After that it's cheating.

RE: Are there happy Moslems? -
12-14-2006, 04:58 AM
No. They are all dull with no other life than to tell christians to convert, for men; their women are so dead inside no matter how they try to smile. I have enough Moslem friends hence my confidence when i say that.
I know male Moslems will disagree with my view and i expect wrath because they enjoy the status quo. But their women, God! they need to be christians to enjoy this short life.
About Terror, they have different views but i don't know whether to believe or its pretense although that is a story for another day.
