In life, people try to solve problems by looking for the root causes. I think on that note, and with mashada open mindness , it wouldn’t hurt to pray for Satan, so as he can change his ways like we do when we pray for others. I mean we blame him for all our problems,.

You guys missed whack_d's point. He said pray FOR Satan, not pray TO Satan. As in pray TO god to make Satan a better being. Since according to Christians ALL evil comes from Satan, then instead of asking god to protect us from each evil individually, it does make sense to ask him to convert the evil-maker into good. Ama? Think about it - if god's goodness entered Satan's soul, all evil as we know it would end...

First and foremost what business would you have asking the Lord to Make Satan a better being?
Satan doesnt force you to sin, just puts evil thougts in our minds and ideas, take for example youre mad at the next guy and i suggested that maybe you should kill him, would you do it? maybe so. but in the long run you wont tell the judge that pathfinder asked me to kill him and so i did. at the end of the day its your word against mine.
Satan knows your weaknesses and entices you to doing them and when you do he accuses you to the Father, surely that is a far cry from you telling the Lord to change Satan, he done tempted you, then had the audacity to go accuse you to God!!!
Lucifer knew God in all His glory. For Lucifer and the other angels to rebel despite what they knew about God, it is the utmost of evil.
So forget about asking God to help satan to be a better being; Satan already knows where he is heading with his demons, question is do you know where youre going? He is the one who put that idea in your head in the first place!
