NEVER MOCK GOD!

Make a personal reflection about this. Very interesting, read until the
end...

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived; God is not
mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women who mocked God:

JOHN LENNON:
Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:
"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about
that. I am certain. Jesus was OK, but his subjects were too simple, Today we
are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles
were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his
party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.
Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President,
then he died.

CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During a show in Cane cão ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking his cigarette,
he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:
"God, that's for you."
He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC:
After the construction of Ti tanic, a reporter asked him how safe the
Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said:
"Not even God can sink it"
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

MARILYN MONROE:
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the
Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the
Preacher had to say, she said:
"I don't need your Jesus."
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

BON SCOTT:
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell."
On the 19th of February 1980 , Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked
by his own vomit.

CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005
In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The
mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness
of her friends and she said to the daughter - holding her hand, who was
already seated in the car:
"MY DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU."
She responded:
"ONLY IF HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE BOOT, CAUSE INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL"
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident,
everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had
been, but surprisingly, the boot was intact. The police said there was no
way the boot could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the boot
was a crate of eggs, none were broken.....
Boot means trunk.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that
was given so much authority as the name o f Jesus. Many have died but only
Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

This is what we call shallow thinking, and that’s why debating with a Christian is like pissing against the wind. Ever heard of sheer coincidence; if you are going to make broad generalizations then lets discuss about the faithful who violently meet there death. Every now and then you hear on the news about Christians who die when churches collapse or get destroyed by a hurricane. Remember natural disasters are an act of God according to Christians. God indiscriminately sent Katrina to wipe everybody regardless of the faith. THANKS GOD. A lot of people die every day, some violently than others but you are quick to point out a few people who died after “mocking” God. Kwani this God you pray is too shallow and has an ego big as the universe that a small statement like that would enrage him to make an irrational decision. Why pray a God like that who doesn’t practice what he preaches about tolerance. Beside is it not a part of his master plan since he knows what will happen to everybody?

Why don’t you see for what it is; a mad man took him out. If you watch his interview, the man was obsessed and the only way he would have made a name for himself was killing John Lennon. CAZUZA- I would like to say his lifestyle determined his destiny; but oh no according to you God sent another homosexual to infect him with the deadly virus. Now Christians, agreeing with native son would mean God made an exceptional case and let a homosexual do his work.

This silly forward was posted a long time ago, and I pointed out that it is filled with untruths, and some vague references, and connections that simply don't make sense. For instance, it states:

The thing is, John Lennon died in 1980, I guess it took the Angel assisantion squads 14 years to catch up with him huh? Maybe it was because they were too busy killing all the faithfull church going religous people, that worship and pray daily, only To have their prayers unanswered and die horrible deaths.

I can construct the exact opposite of this email i.e "NEVER PRAY TO GOD!!!" Illustrating people who prayed hard, only to be rewarded with very horrible fates for their dedication. And the best thing, is that unlike the forward above, I won't have to lie!

If X chooses to mock God (aloud), I highly doubt God would be offended. If God is indeed all knowing and knows what's on X's mind, then God can read that mind, even when the words are not spoken. God can anticipate the thoughts that will culminate in that mockery 1000 years before X's birth. So how then can God get offended at what He already knows?
The mockery stings, not because it's about God, but because it's about believers. It's not God who gets offended by the mockery, it's you, the believer.

Wajibu the phrase "ACT OF GOD" is erroniously attributed to God in reference to calamities that we encounter day to day in our earthly lives. If you'd only try to find God you'd know that everything God has created Satan has corrupted.We are also corrupted and that is why we must look for God for Guidance. The bible says that A child will not ask for fish only to be given a snake by a sane father. Indeed when the child is pleasing his father, it will get abundant showers of its needs. God cannot destroy those people he love, but he showers them with his blessings.

I was just wondering the type of a world we'd have if we put in the same effort we plough in money hunting activities, into God searching. Will it not attract the Lord's attention. But because we are of this world we have ceased to regard God as our creator and many other things have become our gods. I read all your stuff but kept stumbling at this block. Now if I am not wrong Teejay did not write the bible. Infact Teejay came across the bible during his formative years as a youth and then accepted the truth of the bible as your own truth.
