Pebbles nibbles has no capability to engage in any intelligent conversation; she lives in her own cocoon. When have you ever seen her defend her publications she passes as the truth?

Speaking of pamphlets reggie,
aki i remember one day i felt like the world was crashing down on me - my bro had recently died, and the only thing that kept me going was a description of life after death the priest at his funeral had given, and then some jamaa shows up and gives me a pamphlet that says when people die that's it! They remain dead till Jesus returs, no spirits nothing. There went the 'he went to a better place' and 'he is smiling down on you from heaven'
So, when people die do their spirits leave their bodies and go somewhere ama they just remain dead till the end of time and the final resurrection?

I say they lay death Until the second coming of christ. Nothing like they ascend to heaven and watch over us.

It is all in the bible; here we go.
Eccl. 9:5,6 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
How come Malinya believes in the proofless theology given by the priest that his fallen kin is departed to heaven and watching over them? The bible says it clearly. Time and time I say that we ought to know what is the book lest we fall prey to marauding spirits claiming to be from God. The fact that a person adorns a long robe does not mean that they are always imparting sound spiritual knowledge to their subjects. In fact I tend to think that some of these pastors and priest teach the same thing their theological professors taught them in school.
Almost every other Christian I meet seem to believe that immediately upon death the soul goes either to heaven, purgatory, or a place called hell. Malinya, while thinking that loved ones are in heaven is very comforting, thinking that loved ones are in hell is not. Many therefore are tempted to think their loved ones are in heaven anyway. After all everyone has something Good about them. I usually petition such doctrine by asking the preacher a couple of questions. I am a student of the bible and am yet to come across a verse that asserts mans consciousness in death.
1. If they believe in Christs second advent?
If they did then they were in a better position to know that He comes to Judge the world.
2. If the righteous souls go to heaven and the wicked ones descend to hell immediately after death, then is there really a need for Judgment.
The scripture teaches that we will be held accountable for what we do and Judgment must precede the rewards and not the vice versa as being commonly feed to unsuspecting masses.
The insinuation that the dead ascend to heaven is an error, which the church should discard because as we will see later, it is one of the two major errors (the other one being Sunday Sacredness) that Satan will succeed in using to bringing people under his deceptions. The belief in the immortality of the Soul lays the foundation for spiritualism.
The bible is clear on our condition in death. The book of John (Jn 1931-42) Talks about Christs death and we see that he rested in Josephs tomb on the Sabbath having proclaimed the end of his work on the cross and woke up from His deep slumber on Sunday morning. He told Mary not to touch him for He had not ascended to His Father(Jn 20:17). So where do we get that notion that when one dies he goes to heaven? Just prior to this I have sited Eccl 9:5,6, which plainly implies that the dead know nothing. This means that in death a person together his thoughts are perished.
The truth of the matter is that to believe that a dead person has ascended to heaven and watches over us is synonymous to saying that we humans are Immortal, a summon which was first preached to Adam and Eve by the Satan (Gen:3:4 ye shall not surely die). The scripture does say otherwise. We know that after sin permeated our world we became dust that was to return unto dust. The same statement could also mean that we in our spirit form existed in the beginning and that God did not create us! How profane! Doesnt the lord declare in his word that such teachings are false and as such vain worship?
Let us take a look at the human nature. In us there are the following
BODY (dust of the ground: the earths elements)
SPIRIT (breath of life from god. Job 27:3). This spirit must not be confused with the spirit, which God renders, is in his own image (Gen: 1:27 So God created man in his own image)
SOUL (a living person)
The above three make a man (male and female).
The bible speaks nothing about the immortality of the soul as an entity, which is capable of living apart from our body and neither does it speak of the spirit (breath) as an entity which can exist independent of our physical nature, we are not made of parts temporarily connected but of all the above parts in one indivisible whole.
The idea that the soul can exist apart from the body is wholly foreign to the bible. Such concept originated in ancient pagan religious and philosophical systems of Egypt and Greece then made its way in to Christian theology. In scriptures, the word soul generally means the whole person as when Adam started living or when Jesus said his soul or his whole person was sorrowful.
What then happens when you die?
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.Eccl 12:7
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish Psalm 146:4
The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence Psalm 115:17
The very authority of God. Say otherwise and you are a son of the devil. That liar, that old serpent who lures the world.
