Devine,

If you read the verse Peter is alluding to( check song of solomons, am a bit tied down but will look for it for u later), you will see that somewhere, it says, do not discriminate against the black...for his skin is only dark due to the sun. Therefore, King Solomon can be assumed to be white and it is from his lineage that Jesus came from. It is from this lineage too that we find ancestors like Abraham. Therefore, we can conclude that adam was white as well and so God is white.

Black people are only so due to extra pigmentation because the land where they originated from(africa) has a harsh sunlight which white skins can not stand and so their(africans) skin adopted.

The world was created perfectly. This means the sunlight was not greater or less...it was perfect. Fluctuations i.e harsh sunlight and winters came after sin. Using that logic, it is safe to conclude that Adam's skin couldnt have been dark since it had no harsh sunlight to deal with until after he sinned.

Hope am clear now.

Ah, if he was not black how can he be african? White african maybe u can use that logic....but then, jews were only in egypt as a result of Joseph being sold there so their ancestry is really not from Egypt.

Kemi:
Cradle land of man has been scientifically proven to be Africa. White skin shade is a variation of the darker shade due to different climatic changes. However, if we are to believe that man is made in the image of God, what would point to God not being black since original human had a darker shade?

My $.02

P.S. In regard to your point as to the world being created perfectly, ever heard of the big bang theory? -:)

Skeedo,

Am talking from a biblical/creation point of view so I cant use 'science' at the same time coz the two oppose eachother. And as I said initially, if u believe in creation, then Jesus and God gotta be white. If u believe in evolution with big bang theories, then man was initially black HOWEVER you cant include Jesus/God since evolution holds that there is no God.

Let me see if this helps.

In songs of solomon chapter 1:6, Solomons wife says : Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun.

Clearly, Solomon is white, she's black. We know it is from this household that Jesus hailed from. Now if u rewind it, u'll realize that it is also from this household that Abraham hails from. Follow the lineage and it will take you back to Adam.

Ultimately, it doesnt matter whether he's black or white or pink. Neither should it matter whether we are black or white or pink. He doesnt discriminate.

If Jesus was a Japaneese god, he would definitely look Japaneese. Ditto if he was an aborigine. All the people from the area he came from have that "Arabic look", so why would Jesus not look like one of them? Why would god, who has always claimed that he is the god of the Israelites, send the Israelites a saviour who doesn't look anything like the typical Israelite? As for those Egyptian storos (he was born in Egypt so he could have been black), 99% of Egyptians don't even look black, so what's the chance that he ended up looking like one of them?

Like the saying goes, "if triangles had a god, he would have three sides". Jesus, as an Israelite god, definitely looks like the stereotypical Israelite, which is definitely not black...
