Since first and early second century extra-biblical and secular literature -that mentions Jesus- exist, it will not be too hard for you.

Remember the numerous Bible manuscripts in languages ranging from ethiopian to other regions outside the control of Rome.

We know every community especially the Jews were crazy about the importance of maintaining a record of a person's lineage ..... Mat and luk spent many verses on the Adam-to-Jesus 'family connection' topic. Why leave out any descendants, if they ever existed? A study of early church history will reveal no counter claim to 'Jesus single life'.

When was the change made? - people who make this claim 'somehow never share the evidence' and usually are totally ignorant of exisiting non-biblical writting by the early Christian fathers that quote the entire exisiting NT.

Come on ......compare his teaching and his words ....and how the had an effected on ordinary people in the first century ....how could he live a life contrary to his teaching and still 'teach with autority'

yes he did.......two reasons...

1-They mentioned him in the early ages then he disappered and his life continues at 30.Where do you guys think he was....in walmart? think again.

2.The early church re-wrote the scripts while some omitted the whole saga all together due to taxation purposes and laws of inheritance.Its was common for a person to die and his wife would basically inherit his estate or his brotthers/family.By completely omitting and denying the theory that Jesus was married the church in theory found a way that property wouldnt leave its jurisdiction in that once you were in management level position ,you surrenderd to the church all your earthly possesions abandon your family because you now belonged to the "church".You werent allowed to marry and have a family.

Do we have even one student of ancient literature (esp personal history) who can enlighten us on the sytle of writting ancient biographies .... the purpose and sytle of picking what to write.

The Bible does not record that Jesus had earthly property. actually he taught his disciples to sell everything, give the poor and follow him.

Honestly,if they scriptures say he grew up amongst his friends,doing all the normal things .......what do you think he was doing.Of course what teenagers do.There MUST be one good reason and only one reason i can think of why the bible cut all that outand its got something to do with mary magdeline or something suggesting this dude got married to someone.

Boy Jesus:
12 years old.
ran away from home for 3 days--went to the temple.
answered ALL the questions thrown at him by the teachers and asked them tougher ones.

First off,

Reggie-You are a christian fundamentalist who believes that whoever questions the bible is a doubter.Why do you feel uncomfortable when i question what i clearly see has gaps in it? Personally my mum is a catholic and my dad a protestant.Facts are that both arms of christianity believe in certain fundementals that they couldnt agree on and thats why they branched into seperate churches.You are the same kind of pple who probably believe in those churches when they decide to install a gay high priest at your headquaters.Tell me reggie,isnt it funny to you that a church has headquaters in a foreign land and yet dictate to your local parish what doctrine to preach and appoint all your so called "head" of your church in whatever country/region you are?

When you talk Jesus and follow modern church laws you are talking two different religions here.And yes...i said it-The church is a large tax free source of revenue like any other business and plays a very influential role in politics as well(ask the USSR).The last time i checked the vatican was amongst the wealthiest countrys and again-the most secretive.why? What do the have to hide?

Reggie,the bible was never a book when they first wrote it.Several pple wrote the bible through the years and when King james got a hold of it,he decided to re-write what he thought he read.Can i prove that he didnt omit what he didnt understand or didnt like....i cant,but neither can you .Why the huge disparity from old testament to new testament? Remeber from an eye for an eye to.... turn the other cheek in the new testament? Note how old testament was full of immediate vegence from god for mans sins?floods,fire,disease etc.Those disappered completely when you get into the new testament and what is left is a conscience feeling for you to believe or not to believe with believing being rewarded and not believeing being punishable by eternal fire.Psychologically it ends in a mind twisting manner that leads any mind into thousand interpretations.Thats where i give them credit!
