it woulve helped the youth today a lot if jesus' life waz documented between the ages of 13-29.unfortunately he vanishez off the radar in this period, hatuna an example to follow.

and this iz the age when pple are young, careless, think they are immortal and make stupid mistakes.

and thats why islam sometymes reigns supreme coz muhammad waz normal.ezy act to follow.just a human being.

but then i saw another documentary the other day about jesus' brothers and the way he waz just normal and things have been engineered and doctored to make him look divine.

but the fact iz,he must have been unique because religion just doeznt explode to influence half a planet and the course of human history since he walked in the land of israel.

so i can be content christianity iz indeed the place i wanna stay.but being in my 20s,i wouldve really loved to know how jesus handled the tribulations of youth.

You don't have to think too much into it. Would it be of a suprise to you if he lived a normal good boy life during his formative years? Don't you think that would make for a boring read?

Indeed,John finishes His gospel by commenting that if all the things that Jesus did cnnot be documented or else the world would not be able to contain all that was written..

I do not think ,as many say, that we are called to be christlike, where in the bible that appears I do not know so it is not for us to ape Him,as if we can, to attain to hi Moral high ness...Someone said the other day how Jesus ,infront of his brothers and family, said How he had been blameless since birth..Now,none of us can comment ,in the presence of our family, since they know the truth, on our perfect moral uprightnes but he did,He was really something..
He had to fulfill the law so as to be able to usher the new testament, and that He did..
The concern I guess should not be on aping him but in walking in his commands..Believe in Him and love one another that is applicable to all, from age 0 to infinity..
As for youth, looking back I think many of us can agree that it was God rather than our wisdom that Got us from some potentially deadly places..
The Lord knows How to deliver the Godly out of temptation.

peter,
surely Jesus was sent here to set an example to us christians.
even the word christian means follower of christ.
you say that "we are to love one another"; to that i add "just like Jesus loved us"

your comma count: 15 (no, i have no life)

i didn't stutter.

Well, really Jesus did not ask us to do as he did but to do as he said..Much pf what he did it wa only he who could do..Like die for us..Much the reason why the phillipino crucifying each other is not really useful...

But the bible also says that we shall see him as He his for we shall be made like him..When we are finally glorified..Not now...
Just believe in Christ and live as he said, as part of the body..Trying to ape christ wont get you much anywhere in Him...He is the Head we are the body...
Indeed those who do as he commanded are those he says love him...

"and Jesus grew in favour with men and with God all His life which means he led a righteous life in His youth time" the kind of a life jesus led doesnt matter just bworry about ua own r/ship with God. We are not righteous coz Jesus was. We can do more exceedingly than He did if only we care about our fellowship with God.
