Am sorry av joined this discussion late. But i would like to tell Americanised b4 talkin about something then he should have knowledge about it.
I dont see any problem of Iranian President went talkin about wiping Israel map from the world. The milestone of injustices inflict against muslim countries has given them a reason to act.
The September 11th attack made the so- called superpower pull back & see.
Of course the attack shouldnt be observed as a celebration but rather a commemoration of our bitter history & rededication to the obvious fact that an urgent business is at hand. Remember, right defeated is stronger than evil triumphed.
No one anywhere, regardless of his social standing, his financial status, his prestige and his position is an outsider when it comes to justice and when decency & dignity are denied to the humblest people.
Thats y Iran/Palestine have to fashion a body of tactics suitable for their problem.
We muslim are seen in the world as twice- burden people living in the lowest stratum of society.
That y We take immediate action to protect our religion. And no action can take place without a methodology suited to the circumstances of the period.
The posture our silent waiting has been eating me like a cancer.
I believe half a loaf is no bread at all.
If we still say not enough is because we cannot be grateful for the halting and inadequate attempts of the Muslim world to catch up with the basic rights they ought to have inherited automatically.
We must force America, Israel & their allies face the ugly facts of life of their power structures responding clumsily & arrogantly to the whole Muslim world.
Man emotions if are not released in nonviolent ways theyll seek means through violence. This is not a threat but a fact of history.
And now this approach is being termed extremist.
So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists will be? For hate or for love?
For the preservation of justice or for the extension of injustice?
Perhaps it is easy to call Iraq /palestinians freedom fighters terrorists.
But when youve seen vicious mobs of American Soldiers & their allies lynch our Iraq muslims brothers & sisters at will & draw them at whim,
when youve seen hate-filled Israel soldiers curse, kicking & even killing palestinians Mujahid at close range is when youll understand
this.
Undeniably, the Palestinians have been the object of sympathy & wore scars of deep grievances.
But America, Israel & the poor world has come to count on them as people who can quietly endure, silently suffer & patiently wait.
Thats why theyre ready & willing to risk martyrdom in order to move & stir the social conscience of their community.
When you see America & Israel living in a tiptoe stance, never quite knowing what to expect next & plagued with inner fears & outer resentment is because guilt is part of their fear. With this method, the Palestinians have enabled to transmit hatred into constructive energy to seek not only to free themselves but also to free their oppressors from their sins.
Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of bad will.
We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words & actions of bad people but for the appalling silence of good people.
Human being with all their faults constitutes the mechanisms of social movement.
They must make mistakes & learn from them.
They must taste defeat as well as success & discover how to live with each one of them.
We know through painful experience that the oppressors never voluntarily give freedom;
it must be demanded by the oppressed.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
And justice too long delayed is justice denied.
Time & actions are the teachers.
Actually time itself is neutral. It can either be used constructively or destructively.
We must use time creatively in the knowledge that it is always ripe to do right.
It is time to lift our worldly policies from quick sand of religious differences to solid rock of human dignity.
Keep in mind that sometimes law is just on its face but unjust on its application.
I hope mr. Americanised you can understand my legitimate & unavoidable anger.
