Da Vinci Code Movie, "Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene"

I'm eagerly waiting to watch this controversial movie, "Da Vinci Code," which is opening on May 19th 2006.

This movie will be dispelling a lot of myth contained in the Bible, mostly about Jesus Christ.

The book itself, Da Vinci Code, question on unnatural bachelorhood of Jesus Christ, which no book in the Bible talked about. It implies that Jesus married and probably had Children.

The way I see it, why Jesus Christ Gospel is so much believed, is that he won during the competition of that time, since there were other prophets who did not become popular like him.

The issue of Crucifixion and Ressurection made him even more popular.

Jesus message of salvation appealed mostly to women and the poor, who he gave hope.

How come Jesus himself wrote no work; other people wrote about him? Moses wrote the first five books of the Old Testament.

How come no book in the New Testament has said something negative about Jesus Christ?

Every coin has two sides.

Jesus was dealing with human beings, and apart from the only issue where he whipped people who turned church into a market, nothing else bad about Jesus is written. This implies that there is another side of Jesus which was not revealed, and Da Vinci Code will probably do it.

Remember there are more than 15 books lost in the Bible, and these books gave the real account of Jesus Christ. It is like now suppressing all the books that tell the 'Truth' about war in Iraq. The future generations might not know the real Truth.

Remember those scribes during that time, were competing to profit on the issue of Jesus Christ.

Let us wait and see the objective truth being unravelled.

Proletariat,
The pop corn and pepsi have been on standby for the movie immediately i finished reading the book.
Its an added incentive that Hanks will be playing Langdon and Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf from Lord of the Rings) as "the teacher".
May 19th isn't approaching fast enough!

I believe them days, it would've been quite odd for a 34 yr old male to be unmarried, if we take into consideration the Hebrew culture, back then and now. Which begs us to consider an alternative, was Jesus one of the pharisees, son of levi or somm'? Hapana there is no evidence of that.

The Da Vinci code is wrong though. Ati Jesus and Mary were sweethearts! hiyo, i totally disagree. All i know is she was a faithfull disciple and thaz it. Did they have kids? (JC Super Star?) x( x( u best shurrup if you have no evidence to prove that fact.

Will it make a good movie? yes, controversy is one of the best sellers. Should we take offense? what for?, God will deal with it.

I can't wait tomorrow to see the movie. It has sparked off controversy everywhere. It will be a big hit in the box office.

anyone who believes that the events of the movie are true is an idiot. the author of the book has clearly stated that it is all fiction. he did not research on the history but based his work on conspiracy theories.

it goes to show how many people can believe anything. the bible has always passed the the test of time and has been proven over many generations. it will continue for generations to come to be the most influential book.

you can be sure that the da vinci code will be well forget next year as paople will realise it was not worth the controvesy it created.

i believe the authors motive is purely anti-Christian.

Cookie, the da vinci code is fiction, but there are some acceptable historical truths in it--its not all lies.

If you think the book will be soon forgotten, then you're also wrong.
Its not everyday that you get to see a book in the Top 10 of the New York Bestseller lists FOR 163 WEEKS (and counting).
I'm sorry, but this one will go down in history.
