I got two questions for ma Christian/religious brothers and sisters.

1)If you murder someone in a dream without your full mental faculty,Have you committed a sin?

2)Do I get a free ticket to heaven if an Elephant or any other animal kills me?

I love this...let me try and answer you...

1) Yes you have and you must repent and wait for God to judge you accordinly
2) No you don't, you free ticket to heaven is dependent on your deeds. The elephant's according to his deeds to.

"...without your full mental faculty..." -There's the answer to your question. Besides, we have no control over our dreams and sins are commited under willful knowledge.

About question 2: Are you serious?

Yes, Stewie is back.

Yes. Here are a few other options that may qualify for leniency if that were the case.

1. Murder someone when totally high (crack, beer etc.)
2. Murder someone when you are raving mad. (a sincere moment of insanity regardless of how brief.) Which is when most murders occur.

Regardless of the setting, sleep, drunkardness etc. that thought has crossed your mind before thus the sin.

No more than if you than if you were in a car accident(object made by man kills you, disease kills you). Your actions upto that point determine your destiny.

@chotadipo & Another Day

Is it fair to give Leonardo Davinci and some mwenda in Mathare the same trial?That would be a mean GOd

@RegieMan
If they are to be judged differently,then the war George Bush started in Iraq that killed innocent people can be justified becuase he wasn't with full mental faculty when he made the decision.i real life people have different mental states,it can't be the same.Hope you got ma drift

Safina,

That is the paradox we face with religion. What is abominable to man may not necessarily be so in the eyes of God.

What is a sin?
The five types of sin:
1. transgression -- Disobedience to the LORD GOD's Law
2. unrighteousness -- Unjust, immoral and wrong
3. omission of known duty -- Failing to do good works
4. faithlessness -- Failing to act on faithful conviction
5. and foolish thinking -- Wicked or reckless planning

http://www.guidedbiblestudies.com/001sin1.htm

According to the catholic church, there are main classification of sins: MORTAL and VENIAL.
Venial sins are considered 'mild' (my words) while Mortal ones are considered 'grave'. The venial one does not break the covenant with God, so i'll only write about Mortal

For a sin to be mortal, it has to be:
--of Grave matter
--commited with full knowledge
--commited with full consent (done voluntarily)

Please explain to me how you came to that conclusion, Safina.
Before you answer that, think about the very last thing that he did in his life.
