IS JESUS DIVUS JULIUS? -
02-12-2006, 08:23 PM
Yea that's right. The JC stands for Julius Caesar and not Jesus Christ.
Argumentation:
1)Both Julius Caesar and Jesus began their careers in northern countries.Caesar in Gaul,Jesus in Galilee; Both cross a fatal river:Rubicon and Jordan;Bothe enter cities:Corfinium and Cafarnaum;Caesar finds corfinium occupied by a man of Pompey and besieges him, while jesus finds a man possesed by an impure spirit.I hope you have been paying attention to the similarities.
2)PEOPLE IN THE STORIES OF CAESAR AND JESUS ARE STRUCTURALLY THE SAME PEOPLE.
caesar>jESUS
Pompey>Yohana the baptist
Antonius>Simon
Lepidus>peter
(Decimas)Junius(Brutus)>Judas
Marcus Junuis>Barabas
Augustus>Yohana the disciple
Nicomedes of Bithynia>necodemus of Bethania
Cleopatra>Mary Magdlene
If you follow the story carefully.Decimus Brutus betrays Ceasar as Judas betray Jesus.
Marcus Brutus is Caesar's murderer and Barnabas is a Muderer.Nicomedes of Bithynia is said to have had nightly meetings with Caesar as did Nicodemus of Bethany with Jesus
3)CEASAR'S MOST FAMOUS QUATATIONS ARE FOUND IN THE GOSPELS
Example:
*he who does not take sides is on my side>This reoccurs as "For he that is not against us,is for us"
*Did I save them, they might destroy me>becomes "he saves others,he cannot save himself"
Maybe the gospel would have originated from a mis-copying of a report on the Roman Civil war.First from cumulative copying and then finally the logic editing.
I know most of you by now think that I totally disagree with the "Jesus Christ" theory. No,that's not the case here.Infact i was born raised in a Christian Family and my dad is a preacher(Friends church)We can not just be laying back, following stuff just because our parents did it.We have been given all the leads here, all we need to do is fire a few nuerons.I understand some people get into that mood of questioning stuff when they are in their teenage. Most of them usually come back to the bibilical teachings after some time, thinking it looks or rather is mature coming back to the devine command theory(a twist to fit in society).Na wanaanza ati "ooh trust me I have been thru all that".This is not the case here,i hope you feel me on this one.I will leave you with this one.
Imagine you are on a journey to nowhere and the snake that bites is yourself in the *****.

vipi safina..long time..
Nice theory, but ,am afraid i cannot agree with you on this one.
Julius Caesar was a Roman political leader,Jesus was Jewish Religious leader.
Jesus even referred to caesar when he said "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caeasar..."
Julius Caeasar never claimed he was the Son of God,neither was he crucified to save mankind as Jesus was.
Througought mans history, you can come up with several people whose life and times are similar to Jesus, buth thats not saying they are Jesus....

Google the topic title .....and you will get lots of data.
>am just on a question for TM ,if we are all Gods

John 1:12 clearly defines the people with the right to be called the children of God.
>what is so special about Jesus Christ.
At a particular time in history, God became one of us. Emmanuel! and we called him Jesus.

Jesus was born of a virgin woman, you and I were born of.......ehhh....jus conclude,...
Jesus was tempted yet without sin.....the rest of us,? Jus scroll mashada topics for an idea of sin.....
God himself declared from above..."This is my begotten son with whom i am well pleased......"...Jus try and crucify yourself, and lets wait and hear....
those three are reasons enuff......
Devil you are a liar and so is your mother in law

Yea i know that

I am so happy you brought it up.Those as some of the clues or rather leads. Why just Ceasar of all the leaders in the Roman empire? My friend go back to history books, look at the image of ceasar and compare it with that one of Christ.Read the book of Thomas(why do you think they clipped it out of the bible).
>Julius Caeasar never claimed he was the Son of God,neither was
>he crucified to save mankind as Jesus was.
Jesus's story is a same as Ceasar's story except a few words were thrown in there to make it look real,or rather Holy.
>Througought mans history, you can come up with several people

I know exactly what you mean but,try match the History books and the Holy books.you will be shocked about so many things.Example,Jesus Christ of nazareth died on different days according to The Gospels of ,Luke,Mathew,Mark and John. Are we just suppose to sit down and believe that whatever they tell us is right. Thanks for your argument, but remember to flip the coin sometime, don't just drown in the blood of jesus Christ.

Thanx for your response.Come on now,you can't see any question marks when the so called "Jesus" mentions Ceasar. As matter of fact you frame it so well "Jesus is a Jew and not a Roman",why is he mentioning a Roman. My friend,i can't say more that this coz someone might think mimi ni shetani. If you ever get a chance in your lifetime,do a little research on Ceasar's history. Then open all the gospels, compare and contrast, trust me you will know where i am coming from.Koumba,I wrote about twenty pages on this issue,Whatever i posted on Mashada was just little bits of phrases.I was afraid to post all of it coz folks like TM in here who can't stand the truth would start yelling at me,giving me names. If you are interested, hit ma Box,I think you are one of open minded guys in this joint.
