OK TM,
is it that you are slow, or you intentionally choose to NOT look at my posts intelligently? I don't think you are slow, I think you're just so blinded by your religion that you can only look at things from one view point, which means you have to ignore other view points even if they may make sense to you.
Let me state this as simply as I can: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING TO ARGUE ABOUT IT (BTW I'm stressing not shouting).
Let me give you a simple example. I'm sure we've all read Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart". Of course we all know that his main character, Okonkwo, never existed. Yet we did exams on him, wrote papers about him, we argued about him, we discussed his personality, motivations, his wives and kids, the consequences of his actions, etc.
All these discussions were based on the context Okonkwo was presented to us by Chinua Achebe. That's why I can tell you right now that Okonkwo was not a patient man, he was not rational in many of his actions, he was a hard worker, etc, even though we all know he never existed.
A very feasible literature question is "What would you ask Okonkwo if you met him?" I'd ask him why he partook in the killing of his son. Someone would ask him why he was a wife beater. etc. If you then came across a group of people discussing what they'd ask Okonkwo, and you said that they shouldn't ask him questions just because they don't believe he exists, you'd look like an idiot.
Back to your god(s) - I argue on them based on the context they are presented in the various religious books. Therefore I judge god based on what is written about him and said by him in the bible. If the Bible shows god is a child killer, then I'd like to ask him why.
BTW you don't believe Coach's god exists. Yet you have had long arguments with him about his god. You have judged his god, and called him out based on what he is made out to be in the Koran. Just check out your comments on the "@bout Islam..." discussion, where you argue strongly against a god you dont believe in. So why suddenly are you being hypocritical?
Finally - the 7-legged-pygmies is a freaking analogy, just like Okonkwo. Damn, is simple stuff really this hard to grasp?????

I am sure he would say, "Well, that depends on you gorgy, I have done everything possible for you to go to Heaven. It's upto you to decide whether you want to go there or not.

If good people have to suffer inorder to appreciate what they will get from God later, why does the suffering have to endure for so long?

It's been like a billion years since we experienced one of those miracles, what's up with that Father?
