Assurance of Salvation is to "put beyond all all doubt." some basic promises God has made to Christians. You can become convinced of the reality of these promises in your life as you memorize, meditate on, study, and apply the Bible Scripture verses.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1 John 5:11-12

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31

How has God shown that he loves you?
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 5:8

what God has done to bring men to himself?
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 1Peter 3:18

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God John 1:12

What did Jesus promise his followers
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. John 10:27-29

What takes place when a person becomes a Christian, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
