Refreashed and ready -
04-15-2005, 07:48 PM
As I was thinking about mashada and what to do next. I picked up my Bible and opened the book of Acts chapter 27:27-44. It is the story of Paul and the shipwreck. In the story, the ship was moving towards land and the sailors feared that the boat would run aground .Reading the passage I could not help but relate the story to Mashada as the ship with all kinds of passengers on board slowly drifting to the shoreline.
As with the story in the Bible believers and none, believers had traveled in the ship going to the same destination but for different reasons. For days, there was constant suspense (verse 33) and no food had been eaten when Paul argued the passengers to eat, because they needed food to live. All this happened at night and so they could not tell what the shoreline was like. Having listened to Paul, they ate and when daylight came, they realized that they were in a bay that had a sandy beach on which they could run the ship aground and get to safety.
Here to in Mashada as we drift toward the shore we Christians should be like Paul pleading and asking our fellow shipmates to eat the bread of life (bible) and to remain calm as we drift in darkness waiting for daybreak. It was also interesting to note that Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers as they waited that “unless all the men stayed on the ship (verses30-32) then none of the rest in the ship would be saved”. As I sat here considering jumping from mashada I realized that none of us would be safe if we do not stick in the ship until the time comes for us to all get out. Giving guidance and advice to the Mashada crew before we get to the shore.
Hear the sound
We shall speak to the Nations
In the name of JESUS
We shall shout to the corners of the earth
That Christ is King
Fall down on your knees
Bow down
Do not give up
Revival is coming
In the name of JESUS
The people are free.

pin apps i didnt understand what you mean .
sanaa when you read the bible you have to pray before you read so that your spiritual eyes are open for you to see. then you will see as you read what you would normally not be able to see.
Acts 28:27
27For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.
(Read Isaiah 6-9 and 10 also).
i am not judging you or anything but if you find it hard to understand the bible (Assuming thats what you meant)it is usually an indication that there are certain things in you life you need to put in order. your spiritual vail has not been lifted.or there is spiritual warfare at work .the bible says that seek and you shall find .ask and it will be given to you. remember if you truly belong to Him you are safe for no waepon formed against you shall prosper. but if dont belong to him surrender and he will protect as well as open you eyes.

Titus 3
Doing What is Good
1Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
3At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
9But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. 10Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. 11You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is selfcondemned.
In short i am a man ,clay being worked on by the potter. i am sorry not for standing up for christians but for not peaceable and considerate, and not showing true humility toward all men.even when they hate us
