The New African magazine (August – September 2004) recently published the results of their poll. The choices of the readers who participated in this New African survey are quite incredible. Robert Mugabe, the brutal dictator of Zimbabwe was voted the third greatest African of all time!
Amongst some of the surprising nominations for gThe Greatest Africans of All Timeh were numerous Americans: Malcolm X, Mohammed Ali, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby, and Louis Farrakhan. Even Brazilian footballer Pele featured as one of gthe greatest Africans of all timeh!

Teammanager please, Mugabe is a Hero. he was chosen in that survey by REAL africans.

That other christianity mumbo jumbo survey needs to be burned and all those people who participated need to be shot.

Plundered what country? The man is a freedom fighter. I personally blame the average zimbabwean for just sitting there after Mugabe gave them this great opportunity. Its whats wrong with Africans. They want the government to do everything for you.

Again, you cannot argue with me. the New African is one of Africa's most prestigious magazine which is read by all types of Africans from the rich to the poor, the educated elite to the not-so-educated.

They agree with me. You christian guys are just sellouts.

heck...the only guy that is there that thinks is the true african hero is NELSON MANDELA...who the heck are those white guys posing there- its not their game- who the heck was livingstone?
