The Muslim community does not oppose the use of condoms in totality, Chief Kadhi Sheikh Hammad Kassim has said. Its time also the Catholics allowed MARRIED couples to use condoms either as a protection or a contraceptive.

This I agree with. But I wonder to what extent a statement by religious authorities will actually make a difference. Kwa mfano, how many married women have the power to demand that their husbands use condoms (religious backing or not)?
