when you wanna quit a habit,outta that blue iz when all these perfect oportunities arise for you to indulge in carnal pleasures.

when you wanna stop promiscutiy,or being a playa,thats when you get 5 times az many chances of gettin laid.when you wanna quit alcohol,thats when long lost friends ring you up to say theyre coming over and they show up with drinks.and naturally you give in to temptation and peer pressure.

Remember that someone is standing on the gap. Just keep the faith adn ask for faith everyday. He gives in abundance and if one gives his or her life to him, he will richly bless you in abudance and he will never let you go unless you make that choice. He will hold you all the way and you will be more than a conqueror. Remember with faith you will never walk alone. He will be there beside you all the way, through the trials and tribulations and the hardships of making it and letting go of the habits that hold you back.

That story is a typical example given in many prayer congregations.....but let me tell you about the real devil.........this devil doesn't exist anywhere exclusively, in fact this devil exists within all of us mutually......we have developed some kind of relationship that satisfies each other. What is this devil? Lust, anger, greed, attachment, ego, slander and gossip. Now this here is the real devil of a problem. All the stuff you have mentioned above has resulted from lack of control of these devils within us........and before you go start chanting about how we can conquer this devil by the blood of Jesus, learn to deal with this devil inside you first.....Jesus has far more important things to deal with like tsunami's and earthquakes and hunger and poverty.

Its because of lust that we have playas. It is because of raging anger that people end up killing others. It is because of greed that people steal....even some rich people are known to steal. It is because of greed that people want so much when others are suffering in poverty. It is because of attachment that we cannot let go and move on....true love let's go. It is because of ego that so many wars go on as the main leaders cannot see eye to eye. It is because of slander and gossip that rumours fuel further hatred between families.

and where do these devils exist? In the mind, literally.

Any person who has conquered these in the mind has conquered the world.
