Saying that Christ was burdened by all our sins is speaking methaphorically, not literally, so I don't get what pain this is. And even if it was painful, he willed it upon himself, and he knew exactly what he had coming. Come to think of it, Christ is a masochist!

Why? And isn't this the point of religion - to demean you, and make you think you're nothing but a worthless piece of crap that needs to be saved? Why would you follow something that only takes away the positivity from you, something which makes you feel like you're always wrong so you need to keep begging for forgiveness, and which keeps you looking to do good just so as to please your deity?
