Default HAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED OR BEEN ANYDIFFRERNT??? - 03-05-2005, 10:57 AM

AM not perfect but on 31 when i sayed happy newyears to my friends i reminesed back in my life and i had a lot of things to be thankful for and alot of mistakes i had made knowingly and unknowingly.
when i said my prayer i felt something and i took hold of the feeling and i did not make a promise to GOD not to backslide again but i took a vow and assured HIM HE'S ALL I NEED AND IT HAS NOT been easy but am trying.
see there's something about this year and GOD is calling many and only a few are gonna be called so why waste u'r time doing the earthly things when all u get is heartbreak, fear, death, enemies and hatred instead let go of the earth and pray to GOD to help u and follow HIM. and u gain peace, joy and blessings for HIM.
THIS YEAR IS A MARVELLOWS YEAR AND DONT LET IT PASS U BY AND SAY HAPPYNEWS YEAR AGAIN WHEN ALL U'VE BEEN DOING IS THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER INSTEAD WHEN NEWYEARS COME TAKE IT AS ANOTHER DAY COZ U ARE STILL THE SAME PERSON . MY ENCOURAGMENT VERSE IS IN THE BOOK OF PROVERS IT SAYS 29:18 IF YOU CAN SEE THE INVISIBLE GOD WILL GRANT U THE VISIBLE. IF YOU HAVE A DREAM FOR YOURSELF AND SEE A GREAT FUTURE FOR YOURSELF AND TRUST IN GOD HE WILL NOT LET U DOWN BUT GRANT U WHAT U ARE SEEKING. SEEK HIS KIGNDOM AND HIM FIRST AND THE REST SHALL COME LATER. BE BLESSED AND Y'ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK. HOPE ALL YOUR HEARST ARE AT PEACE.

My Life changed since i accepted Jesus as my personal savior and master. since then, i've been living expectantily, for i know he lives in me and not i who is living anymore. Every day i live a blessing and a miracle. I don't remember a day that despite what the world has to offer have felt any different. I just feel happy every day knowing that he has a plan for me, so every day is a new day and not just this year but all years of my life, no matter what he will walk right beside me and you. Remember you will never walk alone with Jesus at your side with faith, we are more than conquerors and knowing that if he is for us then who can be against us makes all the difference.

I'm glad to learn that things are going great in your life as you've come to this New year, i urge you to keep the faith and fly higher.

God bless you.

I since I too accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, Life has not been the same. Each and everyday I have watched God moulding me into a better person and my greatest desire daily is serve him.
Knowing God and Communicating with Him through prayer & reading the Bible is the greatest journey a man can ever undertake.

When faith is more than a ritual but rather a realtionship, then one underastands why the Bible says, TASTE and SEE that the LORD is good.

My life has also changed for the better since I REJECTED the whole notion of god and his son Christ being my personal saviour and my only path to heaven. To quote Jimmy Cliff, "I can see clearly now..."

Give me a honest answer. Have you ever gone past religious rituals and formed a relationship with Jesus Christ?

Former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch was baptized Saturday in the Jordan River, just weeks after quitting his band, drug habits and rock-and-roll lifestyle for religion. Korn announced Welch's resignation last month after 13 years with the band. Welch said he had become increasingly depressed and drug-addicted in recent years, but that religion helped him quit. He said he plans to release more music without the band. "My songs are God saying things to me, him talking to people. He's going to use me to heal people and people are going to be drawn to it, just watch, they will be,"

Can you see your problem here TM? ATlian has given his answer and yet you ask him if he is honest.......i mean what does it take? Just cos not everyone agrees with the God and son story does not mean they are dishonest.

-the paradigm shifter.....God's friend.

The soul is that which beholds beauty even when the mind denies it.

honest answer!!??

Many years ago I was been a non-believer and now I am a believer who has given their life to God. Thus I can HONESTLY tell the DIFFERENCE between being spiritual dead and being spiritually alive.

ATLian has always being spiritually dead, therefore how can he HONESTLY tell the difference??

TM, it's a waste of time giving you what you'd call an "honest answer." I say this because, even if I once was as saved as you are, then I back-slid, you would still tell me that what I was then (my version of being saved) isn't really being saved, coz if I were really saved, I'd not have back-slid. So we'd go back to Square One with you saying I have always been spiritually dead.

I once believed in Christianity and all it's shenanigans. The older I got, the more questions I asked. I went to Bush (Alliance High School), and Bush, being a Christian school, required us to attend some form of church 5 days a week. The more I heard sermons, the more I questioned. The more I questioned, the less answers I got. All I was told was to pray harder and the truth would be revealed. It didn't take me long to realize that that was an opt-out for the Christians.

When I got to the US, I got access to more books and info on the web, and slowly I realized that I cannot keep lying to myself that I believe. Once I accepted that I'm an atheist (believe me, after being brought up believing in god and hell, admitting to yourself that you're an atheist is one terrifying ordeal) I realized how blinding religion can be.

I guess you are somehow right in the 'going back to square one' business.

Guess you read the wrong books. I will bet that you still believe that the icons of evolution e.g 'stanley miller's experiment', 'darwin's tree of life', 'ernst embryos' and 'the missing link' are true despite people knowing that they are fake.

Change your reading habits

TM, maybe you don't realise this, but your condescending, arrogant, "I'm better than you" and "what you believe in isn't correct and only my way is correct" approach is what repels many people from Christianity.
