I simply gave my view on the post on this forum......which i believe is for All of us to consume......and please don't be silly opening up the dic to look for complex words.....the basal ganglia is a group of structures linked to the thalamus at the base of the brain and involved in the co-ordination of movement......my dear young man, in your pursuit of knowledge you show utter ignorance of choice.
what was your, coach, your, challenge again?

It is for all to consume but it was directed towards a specific person in response to a specific comment he made. But hey, kock yourself out if so you wish...

My dear friend...I did some anatomy and physiology in uni and surely don't need a dictionary for such terms. Motor control is something that most parts of the brain participate in...the cerebellum and motor cortex are the major actors when it comes to movement and indeed s you mentionned, some parts of the basal ganglia (excl. the amygdala and claustrum -which a dear friend who does research with PET told me that is the major part of the brain that deals with sexual arousal for men) are also somehow involved. The brain is a complex organ that even the most seasoned neurologist will admit we know very little of. Most parts co-ordinate with others to make different functions possible.

Is your hippocampus failing you already dear friend? :-)

Hey Coach

Ok this may be your perverted sense of humour.....but i refuse to participate in any personal attacks on anybody.......i may not have very pleasing thoughts about the ideologies that you follow but i will not stoop as low as to think that you are a stupid person.......and i don't know whether to expect the same.

Dear friend, you showed me your prowess in anatomical terminology and I thought it would be fun to continue...it is not an insult for the hippocampus sort of processes memory and forms it for the hard drive. It is as I would have said..."Is your memory failing you?" Now I don't see how this can be seen as offensive.

Coach let's get real here......i am not the one who started any of those anatomical terms.....in fact my prowess does not lie there......it lies elsewhere......but if you want to have fun by all means do it........my memory has not yet failed me.......its the morbid fear of ignorance in some ideologies that keeps me sane.

Well you sure did question my ability in that field when you unwittingly "slammed" me by saying...

coach i have no desire in slamming anybody, but when you get cocky then i have to flag you dude. Again i reiterate that i do not support any ideologies that are well past their sell by date. You may be a good chap and a clever d*ck but if your i deology is flawed it will be subject to slam.......i slam ideologies.......now how did i end up with this???

This is how you ended up with this...
"...and please don't be silly opening up the dic to look for complex words..."
This had nothing to do with "slamming" ideologies but a meek attempt in trying to be a smart ***** by assuming that I didn't know what the heck I was talking about. You made an erroneous assumption, it don't matter now...just move on dude!

now how many people do we know that mention basal ganglia in their ordinary day to day conversation, excluding neuro-surgeons?????
