Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector and was rich.

And he sought to see who Jesus was, but he couldn't because of the crowd, for he was a short man.

Na alijisikia kuso rora Yesu ni nani, lakini hakutoboa juu ya ile kerende na alikua mpyenga.

So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him for he was going that direction.

Zak akarush lembwe akadandia mti ili amsorore vipoa ju alikuwa akicome hiyo ndeva.

And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him;

Saa ile yesu alikafi paho, alicheki juu na alafu akamshow aje;

Zacchaeus, make a haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house

Zak, dondoka chini faster, juu leo hii lazima nimange na ni kible kwa mbanyu koya..
