Astrology, Horoscope, Palm-reading, Fortune-tellings ...... -

Astrology, Horoscope, Palm-reading, Fortune-tellings ......!!!!! Although such practises might be acceptable to Atheist, Moon-worshipers and our Mashada-resident 'new age/Hinduism/Mormon' representative, etc, WHAT should a Christian do today?
Friends FLEE from all forms of Idolatry and abstain from every form of EVIL. The future is NOT in the STARS, but in the true and living GOD.
Both in the OT and NT, the practise is condemned.

Good question.....christians should do what Jesus Christ told them to do and revamp some parts of the bible.....not throw it away, but discard what is not useful to us anymore.
One must understand that EVERYTHING is created by God....there are no exceptions.....religious people except, most people accept God is everything. Even these people are trying to quench their thirst in a way of their own choosing.....that choice too was God-given......please do not make it into an "evil" thing. The problem is not what they are doing but what they are being......for they are human beings!!!! Are they being 'good' doing that? so let them be. Are they being true to themselves? so let them be. Are they being in tune with God? so let them be. They may not experience God in their ways but they will come round one day. Do not condemn them or call them evil....they are simply people who have chosen to forget Who They Are which is We Are All One.
-the paradigm shifter......God's friend.
The soul is that which beholds beauty even when the mind denies it.

TM, if atheists don't believe in the biggest deal out there - god - how the heck do you expect us to believe in the smaller stuff like "Astrology, Horoscope, Palm-reading, Fortune-tellings"? I've zero time for such myths, that's why I threw all those things out into the same garbage dump I threw deities, heaven, angels and other such hogwash.
Also, think about this: weren't Joseph and Daniel (two chaps who are definitely going to be in heaven) fortune tellers and astrologers of sorts, seeing they both intepreted dreams and writings for the Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar (and his other babylonian kings)? In fact, Daniel was so damn good at this stuff, that in Daniel 5:11, we see that he was "made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers" by Nebuchadnezzar. Since Daniel was one of god's chosen ones depite being an "astrologer", why would god become a hypocrite and have beef with ME if I decided to believe in astrology or become an astrologer? In fact the bible says that Daniel was able to "astrologize" because god enabled him to do so. So why then would it be OK for Daniel but wrong for Cleo (for those of you not in the States, she's a famous TV astrologer)?

I Had to get your attention, lakini there are many atheists who despite not believing about God, they are still seriously concerned about their future. These fellows go to Astrologers.

The context is very clear in that The Babylonians and Egyptians are the onces describing any 'wise person' as a magician with the spirit of the holy gods in them.
