TM you are right. The problem is that men do not love their women as Jesus loved the church. I know that if my man loved me, I mean that
kind of love, I would submit.

But remember that submission does not translate into slavery or subordination, which is how many see it. The church is not Jesus's slave.

TM I also believe that there is a verse in Eph. that talks about submitting one to another. When it says submitt I dont think its in the sense of being a door mat coz when u fafanua Eph. ( when I remember which chapter I will let you know) it also tells husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church.....so in other words for husbands to get that submission they need to recongize that they have to plant a seed of respect and love in their wife so that they can saw their rewards.
Alot of jamaas dont read the entire chapter of that verse and just want to misqoute staff or rather customize it for themselves. So before a man goes singing about submission my swali to him would be would he love me as much as Christ loved the church ...?

a statement like that one does not need to be contextualized for anyone to understand what it means......its plain and simple english........why even God does not require submission!!! True love does not hold on or have conditions....ANY conditions......One does not have to love another to be submitted to and vice versa.

Jesus christ did not love the chuch.....He loved God...please do not confuse between the church and God.....the church is not all encompassing whereas God is.

I have no broblem with submitting to my husband. If fact I am so

submissive just the other I submitted to him by letting him tie me

up in handcuffs. I never knew submitting could be so much fun.
