Are you married or single? incase that you are fornicating or committing adultery I would perfectly understand why you would freak-out praying (not neccessarily for sex) or reading the Bible with your partner before retiring to bed, since the Bible bring light and for obvious reason 'things done in darkness' i.e. sin will be uncomfortable in its presence.

The statistics i mentioned (now for the third time) can be found in the book 'sex in America' was published in 1994 by researcherss at the university of Chicago.
