Default Chosen generation - 04-23-2004, 10:09 PM

Look around and see how lucky we are to be born where we were and when we were..The Prophets all pointed to the coming Kingdom of Jesus and the coming tribulation In the future..So we are In between ..And the gospel is so freely preached..and the bible Is as common as a doormat from the greatest mansion in beverly Hills to the poorest folk in the Amazon and all points In between...Telecommunication is so advanced It Is becoming a bore..
I do not know how God will judge those who had no way of Knowing the truth ( Or did they Not)..But I know God Is Just...(By the way little kids have their angels as commonly believed ) But think about it ,what excuse you have if you heard and rejected Him...sadly ..going straight to Hell
Well the good news is that salvation is still freely available..But not for too long....And the call is to a good thing....by the way..

@peter
everyone gets bored with one thing, even a preacher gets bored;unless he/she comes up with new things and ideas.
did u ever consider that perhaps christ never died?all the blood loss and scars can put someone in deep coma, but the doctors would tell you that its possible to sustain such things and still get a chance to live
a surgeon once made a head transplant of an ape's head onto another body;showing that death happens in the head.

christ endured pain and suffering for his friends(a sign of love),which maybe was unheard of in those times as noone could ever think of doing such a thing.and so a faith,or a basic example was set and pple started following that.
your terms about giving someone "eternal life";first we have to know how to stop death, how the brain works, the whole thing about someone being conscious and aware, dreams et al there are pple working on that.
i want to have eternal life too;but thats how im planning to pursue it.

You say that perhaps christ never died, that is interesting..that You believe He existed then that means you must believe on some aspect of His Ministry...If It is about friends dying for each Other then I am sure Abraham's story would Have been more Interesting than Jesus' ,He was willing to sacrifice His son,why would Jesus' story be so interesting...
Anyway ,You seem to believe in science,How come the same surgeons have Not been able to bring back someone to life If as you put It death is Only on the Head.Surely they know all there is to know abou the workings Of the Head, why then can they bringIt To Life?

If You are like me ,the only aspect that seems to change with your age is your age ,body and experience..the rest seem to stay the same..that is why people who are Old Often say they feel as if they are as young as children but their bodies betray them, then that means there is an aspect of Humans That transcends time, your soul and spirit..where do you think they go After death
well >>>going with your line of reasoning..what if christ did indeed die and was resurected ...what would you say..

you raise hard questions yourself.if someone is confirmed "DEAD" can they be brought back to life?where does the inner self come from?where does it go after we die?
i dont know.
as to if Christ did indeed die and resurrected...ide say its a miracle.peter,i do believe in miracles.
but i think that idea of putting one person in the frontline to "lead"
or "die" is absurd.working as a team by sharing where everyone participates is the best way,i think.its also best to think,we all die for a common good.
