I have this really prayerful friend, and i consider her one of the real christians i know. Recently she has been having this really weired happenings( for lack of a better word). She prays for long periods of time and even sometimes waits to hear from God, because God does speak to us when we go into his presence and listen to him. She can feel a breakthrough ( i do this also) but what happens is there is also like a voice that tells her of even how she will get what she has been praying for and when. And you know what? it does actually happen, problem is, what she normally gets is not close to godly. E.g she has been praying for a job and the whole thing happened only to find out the job was really wrong, wrong in that it was illegal, and its happening more and more now, what is this? she's feeling like she is gonna give up coz salvation just isnt making sense at all!

Kajeddy, it is always important to test any spirit that comes your way, you cannot always assume because it came in prayer and u r prayerfull then you can never be lied to by the wrong spirit.
I am not saying your friend is possessed , she just needs to ask God to help her discern and give her a way to know if it is from him and God is good will guide her, my suggestion is she should not give up her salvation, God will help her through this if she asks.

Thats why the bible calls upon christians to test all spirits. I guess being filled with the Holy Spirit would help in deciding if the answer is from God or not.

Remember the verse in the bible that talks about the day of judgement? It says that many will claim to have healed and done miracles in his name and God will say that he never knew them! That makes you wonder just who is for real as far as true Christianity goes as well as make you realize that signs and miracles alone are not the ultimate sign for Christianity. Well, I ain't an expert in this field but I would tell your friends to use the bible as the reference or test to all the 'answers' she gets for her prayers.

That is how it goes..that on hearing a ka voice is dangerous..The devil can suggest to you too..unfortunately it is a growing trend with many peachers now saying that GOD spoke to them without elaborating how..
Please, tell her to avoid that road,it leads to disappointment...If God wants to you to Know something it will be evident..
what we know is from God is the bible,In it are all God's promises and all..Anything that contradicts it is wrong,and from the devil

Just keep on praying,and reading the bible...If gettinga job is more important than Jesus in One's life,imagine why god Is Not giving

What does she mean she wants to give up on salvation?So if she never got answered prayers she would give up on salvation?What if she dint feel God's prescence as was the case with Job? She has a wrong attitude towards God this is a relationship sometimes ur close other times ur distant dont mean God isnt there he is but sometimes he hides his face from us.Even then we need to trust him believe in His promises and know that nothing happens to us without God's aprroval and that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes.

Secondly the issue of being prayerful to a point that God speaks to you in an audible voice should also remind you that you are also entering a realm where the enemy can also audibly speak to you.The more spiri you become you also become more of a target for the enemy coz ur more of a threat yes she may have prayed for a jobo sincerely but you know the devil with bringing counterfeits to derail us from God's best (Like Paul said we are not ignorant of his devices) just remember God's word is always the benchmark and it says every good and perfect gift comes from above from the father of lights with whom there is no variation.Also remember the Bible says what is from the Lord addeth no sorrow to it therefore clearly something that is illegal isnot from God as it could land u in jail and hence add sorrow.Also we must be subject to the ruling authority by obeying the laws of the land so this clearly isnt from God.
Jeddy you can pray for ur friend because she obviously being bombarded by the evil one but God is so gracious He will deliver her from all evil :)

WELLHELL, GOD has favrites too. those that he favours, why, equal acess to God does not result to equal blessings. well all i know is that if bad thing happen in your life you have 4 ways to to put the blame on. 1. GOD 2. YOU 3. SATAN. 4 . OTHERS OR OBJECTS. the question is whom do you blame. is very trick. if your prayers dont go via, do you blame GOD for not amswerin, do you blame ur methods of praying, do you blame devil for blocking the prayer from reaching God or do you blame other for not praying for you. we need answers.

What is more strange is that her salvation is based on 'good anwsered' prayers and NOT on Christ's sacrifice on the cross for her sin.
