>I asked myself, why did God allow his son to be subjected to
>such brutal treatment just to make a point?
Well, God is a God of Justice. Man goofed, and therefore he had to pay the price. The wages of sin, after all are death, so God, being a God of Justice, had to execute his justice.
However, God is also a God of Mercy. So instead of punishing man, he took the punishment for them. He couldnt just let man's indiscretions go away, because he is a just God. So someone had to pay. He did.
>Why do we blame Judas for betraying Jesus if it was already
>planned that he will be betray Jesus?
Man is by and large rather silly. We should be thankful that we didn't get the job!
>Can we also conclude that the Jews, Romans didnt do anything
>wrong as they were part of Gods plan to crucify Jesus? And if
>they didnt do it then someone would still have done as it was
>part of Gods plan.
The fact that God ultimately derives good from man's acts, be they good and evil does not give man a rubber stamp to do as he pleases. Man is free to make his own choices but he'd better be ready to reap the fruits!
>What is the symbolism of God allowing Jesus to be betrayed
>then brutally beaten then crucified? Couldnt God just have
>simply accomplished his plan for the world in another way?
Like I said before, God exercised justice. If you goof you must reap the rewards. However he is also merciful. So instead of making man pay for his sins the paid for them himself. There's no contradiction. If he just forgot about them it would negate the principle of justice
